How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Service

As your server community grows, you might need more RAM or storage. Conversely, if you find you have too many resources, you can downgrade to save money. HEO Systems makes this process easy.

Steps to Change Your Package

  1. Log in to the Client Area.
  2. Navigate to Services > My Services.
  3. Click on the active service you wish to modify.
  4. In the left-hand sidebar (or "Actions" menu), click Upgrade/Downgrade. (Not "Upgrade/Downgrade Configurable Options"!)
    • Note: If this option is not visible, Please contact support.
  5. Select the New Product/Service package you want to switch to.
  6. Choose your billing cycle preferences if prompted.
  7. Click Choose Product.

How Payments Work

  • Upgrades: You will be issued an invoice for the difference in price for the remainder of the current billing cycle. The upgrade is applied instantly once payment is received.
  • Downgrades: The price difference will usually be credited to your account balance for future use.

Important Notes

  • Disk Space: If you are downgrading, ensure your current disk usage fits within the new plan's limits, or data loss may occur.
  • IP Address: Your server IP address and data typically remain the same during an upgrade.
